What is GSDS?
GSDS is Sovern's closed, CI-enforced design system used to build product surfaces with one consistent visual language. It is substrate-internal (KK.sub2 / KK-1): it is not published as a public npm design-system package and does not ship as a partner-distributable SDK. Interactive UI relies on GSDS primitives and registered patterns — not ad hoc third-party UI stacks. Only packages on the closed allowlist below may appear in GSDS code paths.

Composition grammar
KK.sub1.5 defines a closed composition DAG across kinds — the enforcement guard is part of the substrate CI cluster. For a developer-oriented scaffold that lists every kind, see the GSDS composition catalog (v1 scaffold; fuller coverage is scheduled for the §ZBH horizon).
Amendment protocol
Changes to kinds, third-party packages, or major version pins follow KK.sub4 (KK-amendment-N) — recorded in the amendment log and reflected in registry entries via the sinceKkAmendment field.
